Formed in 1914, Food Northwest, formerly the Northwest Food Processors Association (NWFPA), serves as an ADVOCATE for the interests of member food processors in Idaho, Oregon and Washington and as an INFORMATION RESOURCE. Association services include providing up-to-date information on the issues impacting the industry including the following areas: Food Safety and Security, Energy, Environmental Affairs, Sustainability and Governmental Affairs. Our Training Center offers certification programs as well as educational seminars for industry participants. The Association conducts several annual events, targeted to the food processing industry, featuring speakers and programming of great value to their members. Food Northwest is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and has 350+ member companies.
