Forge Partners was founded by Yomi Akiwumi. Yomi is a former city lawyer and financial services strategy consultant with over twenty-two years' experience across financial services, including fourteen years in executive search and advisory.
Much of our expertise was gained out of the 2008 financial crises and the European bank deleveraging that followed.
We have since built teams of specialist investment professionals focused on the acquisition of distressed financial, corporate and real estate-backed assets and businesses - from those acquiring portfolios of non-performing loans (NPLs) backed by real estate, corporate and consumer loans, to those acquiring asset servicing & origination platforms, distressed banks, speciality lenders and other financial services business in their entirety.
