We are a private occupational therapy practice treating pelvic floor dysfunction, especially for postpartum women. The conditions that we treat include:
-bladder and bowel incontinence and dysfunction
-pelvic organ prolapse
-pain with intercourse
-diastasis recti
-chronic pelvic pain conditions, including vulvar pain, vaginismus, endometriosis, painful bladder syndrome, & polycystic ovarian syndrome
We offer private therapy sessions at the office space of Roots Chiropractic in Mount Lebanon, PA, as well as in-home visits for newly postpartum moms.
While we do treat women of all ages, we especially serve pregnant and postpartum clients. We believe that all women are able to restore function following birth, and that achieving a more stable core and better functioning pelvic floor are critical to a woman’s physical health as well as her mental well-being.
