gaiac is a research institute (registered association), founded in 2003 as a legally independent spin-off from the Institute for Environmental Research at RWTH Aachen University, Germany (so-called “An-Institut”).
The gaiac team consists of currently 28 strongly committed employees, mostly biologists, supported by biological technical assistants and team assistants.
