Fortis Capital is a nonprofit community development company that provides access to capital for BIPOC businesses and businesses in challenged communities in the City of Minneapolis. Created in 2019 with support from Living Cities and the City of Minneapolis, Fortis Capital partners with banks and CDCs to make participation loans to businesses that otherwise would not be able to qualify for the level of credit they need.
While borrowing money can be complex and difficult, Fortis Capital’s proven lending model has been assisting businesses in Minneapolis for many years. Fortis Capital works with its lending partners to make the process smoother and easier during the entire term of your loan.
