Tarek Fouad founded Fouad Law Firm in 2024, an independent firm in Egypt providing top-notch local and global expertise.
Tarek acquired extensive experience in corporate, commercial matters over the past 14 years. He developed considerable experience in M&As, venture capital, banking, hospitality and tourism and advised several clients on share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, hotel management agreements and other legal and compliance-related matters.
Before founding FLF, Tarek has been a partner at ALC | Alieldean Weshahi & Partners, an Egyptian law firm, with offices at Cairo and Riyadh, since January 2022, after he joined the firm as a senior associate in February 2016. Tarek worked was the head of projects and infrastructure practice and co-head of corporate and M&A practice.
During his tenure with Alieldean Weshahi and Partners, Tarek worked closely with the Minister’s office and deputies on representing New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), the Egyptian real estate and development regulator, and led the negotiations on all legal matters under the Design-Build construction contracts executed between NUCA and CSCEC in the Central Business District of the New Administrative Capital and New City of Alamein, as well as, the facility agreement concluded between NUCA, as borrower, and the group of international banks, in connection with financing the construction works of the CBD assets.
Before joining Alieldean Weshahi & Partners, Tarek worked as a senior associate in MENA Associates, Amereller Legal Consultants, from mid-2013 to the end of 2015, advising on general corporate matters serving various industries, including FMCG, pharmaceutical, automotive, food and beverage and aviation.
Before joining MENA Associates, Tarek worked as an associate in Tahoun Law Office (TLO), from mid-2010 to mid-2013 advising on general corporate matters serving various industries, software development, industrial development, oil and gas and manufacturing.
