Foundation Asset Management (“Foundation”) was founded in 2006 by Michael Liang and seeded by the family office of United Overseas Bank (Singapore's 3rd largest bank). We invest on behalf of investors globally, including pensions, endowments, foundations and family offices. We currently manage over $1 billion of capital.
Foundation remains one of the longest standing China hedge funds. Over our 15 years track record, we have proven to be able to deliver outperformance and navigate through volatility. Led by Michael Liang’s unique experience across cycles, our global perspective combined with deep understanding of China have been the key drivers in this outperformance, especially in crisis situations such as 2008, March 2020 and 2021.
