Founders for Refugees is a biweekly meditation community on-line for Founders to support, empower, grow and SUSTAIN their meditation practice within a like-minded community. What differentiates Founders for Refugees from other meditation initiates, is that it is for Founders only and the "sitting" (the "non-doing") actually becomes the "doing" as all incoming donations from the platform go towards a Mindfulness-Based Trauma Recovery program for Refugees, designed to empower and enable each refugee to cultivate moments of inner refuge and safety, from which healing and recovery may begin and hope may emerge. MBTR-R – is a first-of-its-kind mindfulness- and compassion-based group intervention for refugees and asylum seekers developed by Moments of Refuge.
