Frenchy’s Chicken is a Houston-born, family-founded restaurant brand that’s been serving up bold, authentic Creole flavor since 1969. Known for our Southern Louisiana fried chicken and soulful sides, we’ve become a cultural landmark in the city—rooted in tradition, built on community, and driven by a passion for great food.
What started as a small po-boy shop in Houston’s Third Ward has grown into a beloved institution across the region. Frenchy’s introduced generations of Houstonians to the rich flavors of Southern Louisiana—crispy, seasoned fried chicken, red beans and rice, dirty rice, collard greens, and other deeply satisfying Creole dishes that feel like home.
Our mission is simple: to bring people together through food that reflects our heritage and honors our community. With warm hospitality at the heart of every guest experience, we’ve created a space where flavor, culture, and connection thrive.
Today, Frenchy’s operates multiple locations across Greater Houston, including our original Scott Street site and restaurants in Acres Homes, Almeda, Atascocita, Cypress, Katy, Rankin Road, and Beltway & Richmond. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to the values that built our legacy—integrity, authenticity, and a deep respect for the communities we serve.
