A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Mari Contreras, PA-C, is proud to serve the greater Phoenix community at Fresh Start Aesthetics Med Spa. Mari has been in the medical field for 15 years, specializing in nonsurgical cosmetic medicine, and she has more than 10 years of experience in injectable and laser cosmetics. She’s a firm believer in getting dramatic results safely, naturally, and through the least invasive means possible.
She continually educates herself on innovations in skin care and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures, and she is proud to offer top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art treatment options to her patients. Part of her guiding philosophy is that life-changing cosmetic results shouldn’t come at the expense of your health or comfort, and she’s excited to see that technology is catching up.
As a certified physician’s assistant with a master’s degree in medical science and physician assistant studies from Northern Arizona University, Mari’s background in medicine informs every aspect of her work at Fresh Start Aesthetics Med Spa. She believes that looking your best is a matter of health and wellbeing, so she strives to help you fit cosmetic treatments into a wider plan for self-care. She will listen to your needs, wishes, and concerns while developing your customized treatment plan, and she will keep your best interests in mind while employing a holistic, multifaceted approach.
Mari spent more than half a decade developing her own FDA-approved, pharmaceutical grade skincare line, drawing on her undergraduate education in microbiology and chemistry.
