Integrated into the Store, Friday Sari Project is also a Space and platform for contemporary culture and conversation. Through a curated programme of exhibitions and events, we offer a modern take on India, Sri Lanka and the evolving asian diaspora. Focusing on fashion, photography, graphics, art, film and food, we capture a snapshot of a fresh new creativity and expression.
All of the designers and makers selected share an innate quality to grow their businesses elevating the remarkable skills, materials and processes from the land they love. Artistry of the past and future have been adopted by a generation of empowered creatives who are producing not only incredible work and products but also sparking new dialogues with a modern and contemporary spin.
