Since our inception, Friendship Senior Options has had a keen focus on evolving the services available for seniors. We've innovated the Continuing Care Retirement Community model in the Chicagoland area. Friendship Senior Options was formed in 2005 to oversee all of the growth and innovation associated with our existing communities.
Friendship Village of Schaumburg has been at the forefront of the industry since it was established 36 years ago. It was the first Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the area to introduce assisted living. It was the first CCRC in Illinois to be certified by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission-Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CCAC-CARF). Today, it is the largest CCRC in Illinois.
Coupled with the opening of GreenFields of Geneva, we’ve created two of the most reputable retirement communities in the nation. Our services and staff are continually lauded as some of the best in the industry.
At Friendship Senior Options, we realize that to deliver the best you need to invest. Over the last seven years, Friendship Senior Options has invested over $250 million in capital improvements to enhance the ability of the organization to meet the needs of older adults.
We’ve accomplished a lot in our short history, and it is only the beginning. The state of the economy and the healthcare debate have posed unique challenges for our organization and the industry as a whole. But we’ve never backed down from a challenge. Through the years, we’ve faced many obstacles and reached our goals with a steadfast commitment to our operational objectives and our dedication to the seniors we serve.
