Frontlines of Freedom is one of the longest standing Military News Talk Shows currently airing in the Untied States of America. The show airs in syndication in 187 markets in the U.S + Guam. Each week we reach families across the country to discuss current state of affairs, military news, dive into policy and issues and provide a safe space for veterans and families to tune in for support and updates directly impacting their families.
This show and business was the vision of an amazing man who proudly served our country and at 80 years long is still operating on the frontlines of Frontlines of Freedom.
“Colonel Gillem” is a highly decorated Airborne Ranger who was awarded two Purple Hearts and seven awards for Valor, while serving two tours in Vietnam. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY (Go Army!) and also served as a Mideast War Planner.
While serving as an Army Advisor to the Michigan Army National Guard, Denny and wife Marilyn fell in love with Western Michigan. Denny concluded his 22 year career as an infantryman and the family settled in the Grand Rapids area. Since then, Denny has worked in sales, leadership, and academic positions, where he still teaches today.
Denny’s vision for Frontlines of Freedom is to focus on the brave Americans who have and are defending our freedom. He drives home the fact, in every show, that freedom is not free, rather, the price is paid by the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, who serve in harm’s way.
