Bionica is an all-girls FTC robotics team from Hewlett, New York. Our mission is to promote girls in STEM and shatter the glass ceiling of gender stereotypes. We hope to spread awareness about our cause and engage our community in robotics. Through outreach events held online, in our local elementary schools, and throughout the district, Bionica aims to inspire the next generation of female engineers, coders, and builders. Our Friday nights are filled with members creating new designs, prototyping ideas, and experimenting with tools. Bionica members have navigated their experience in the vast and intriguing field of robotics with teamwork, collaboration, and motivation. We are extremely excited to participate in this year’s FIRST Tech Challenge.
