The Francisco Udofia Foundation (FUF.AFRICA) is a dynamic and transformative non-profit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and youth in communities across Nigeria and Africa. Founded in July 2023 by Francisco Biatus Udofia, FUF.AFRICA was established with a clear and powerful vision: to break the cycle of poverty and improve the socio-economic status of marginalized populations through holistic transformation.
We envision a world where every individual, regardless of their background, has access to the resources, opportunities, and support necessary to achieve a better quality of life. Our mission is to be the voice of the youth, the hope of neglected communities, and a beacon of restoration for those impacted by poverty, abuse, violence, disease, and natural disasters. We are committed to discovering and supporting communities, empowering them to uplift themselves and break free from the cycle of poverty.
Our major objectives as an organization is to accomplish the following:
- Holistic Transformation: Fostering a holistic transformation for young people and disadvantaged communities through empowerment programs and training opportunities that will promote self-sufficiency and alleviate poverty.
-Health and Safety Protection: Ensuring the health and safety of children in schools and communities through various health initiatives and protective measures.
- Rehabilitation Through Arts: Facilitating the rehabilitation of traumatized children through creative avenues such as sports, music, dance, and drama, which aid in emotional and psychological healing.
- Capacity Building and Sensitization: Educating children and communities at large on reproductive health, rights, and the prevention of viral illnesses such as HIV and chronic hepatitis through targeted awareness campaigns.
