IB-Compass Foundation supports Costa Rica’s educational sector including teachers and students from both private and public schools offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. With nearly 50 IB World schools operating in Costa Rica, IB compass Foundation is committed to strengthening access, fellowship, and support among IB schools by forging meaningful ties. Mission: To promote learning synergy between public and private educational communities by offering guidance and access to the International Baccalaureate program. Vision: To be the organization that provides opportunities and tools to both students and educators in order to reach educational excellence. Our Pillars: That every young person, in any part of the country, who is willing and able to accept the challenge of pursuing a world-class education be given the opportunity to do so. That every educator with the attitude and drive to face changes and challenges be given the opportunity to receive professional development. Community: That students, graduates and educators be able to participate in activities that benefit and encourage the International Baccalaureate learning community. Support: That students and graduates be able to count on guidance when contemplating university studies or job prospects.
