Fundación BAI, A.C. is the name of our registered non-profit organization established in México in 2007.
Our mission is to empower the people of the Yucatán to respond to HIV/AIDS in order to live healthy lives.
Our vision is to be the catalyst for change where knowledge, prevention, and treatment, replace fear, discrimination, prejudice, and death for those living with the disease.
Our goals are to decrease the spread of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and teenage pregnancies in the Yucatán and to improve access to healthcare and the overall quality of life for those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
One of our most important roles is outreaching to middle and high schools in the Yucatán Peninsula with our highly respected sex education curriculum. These are aimed at helping young people to live a healthy life and to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
Our programs are focused on Prevention through Education, Testing and Care.
