IPI Cooperació is a non-profit organisation founded in the year 2000, nowadays established as a foundation with a national scope. Our primary goal is the protection of children in every dimension and the defense of their rights.
We are developing projects in four African countries: Mali, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Ethiopia. The latter is the country where we have the most experience, local infrastructure, and ongoing programs.
Fostering homes for orphaned children, supporting health centers for vulnerable children, scholarships and sponsorships for students, training programs for young people, workshops, and comprehensive support for schools, among others, have been our main projects to date. The success and consolidation of our programs have motivated us to undertake more ambitious initiatives.
Our staff is primarily made up of volunteers, and we are a group of individuals and professionals from diverse backgrounds, united by the same goal: to do what we do best to support the most vulnerable—women and children in the Global South.
The funds to carry out our projects come from our own resources, members, private and public entities, and individual donations. Additionally, IPI COOP conducts an annual external financial audit to ensure the proper management of our resources.
