Founded in 2009, we are a non-profit, non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of the Environment in Ecuador with the aim of promoting economically viable alternatives to current practices that are not sustainable by combining research, natural resource management and environmental education.
We collaborate with our reserve, La Hesperia, which has 700 hectares of forest and 100 hectares dedicated to sustainable production. It is located in the western mountain range of the Ecuadorian Andes and contains a great biodiversity, with several species in danger of extinction and others being endemic to the region.
