A Fundação Chapadão, fruto da iniciativa de produtores rurais da região dos Chapadões da região Nordeste do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, iniciou suas atividades em agosto de 1997, para atender as demandas locais do agronegócio.
Hoje, consolidada, a instituição é referência na pesquisa agronômica do país gerando informações técnicas voltadas para a produção de grãos e fibras no cerrado, pautada em base científica e amparada por equipe altamente qualificada.
