Furry Foster is a 501(c)3 federal non-profit organization dedicated to ending the euthanasia of adoptable pets by connecting homeless pets with loving foster homes.
Furry Foster was started in 2011 by one San Diego foster parent trying to help local rescues solve an important problem: finding more foster homes so they could rescue more pets. Furry Foster's mission is to promote public awareness about pet fostering, create new pet foster homes and provide resources for pet foster parents and rescue foster programs to end the euthanasia of adoptable pets.
