At Fusing Ideas Glass, artist/maker Jill Bagnall creates unique, one-off, contemporary glass bursting with colour! Jill enjoys the challenge of this sometimes-unpredictable media, knowing that the result will always be enriched by the unique interaction between glass and light; light breathes life into glass!
Jill's work is informed by a geometrical, balanced aesthetic and, usually, boldness of colour and the 'tapestry' technique has underpinned her designs for almost 10 years.
Fusing Ideas, est. 2012, is based in a small village on the edge of the Shropshire Hills with a facilities spread across different 'rooms' including a small studio packed with glass in a multitude of colours.
You are welcome to visit but this must be by appointment and at your own risk.
Our popular Glass Fusing workshops are run from the local village community hall, giving better visitor facilities and helping maximise use of local resources.
You can see Jill's glass at selling exhibitions organised by the Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft, of which Jill is a member. These shows are twice a year, May & October, in Much Wenlock and at Christmass "Gorgeous" at Enginuity in Coalbrookdale (Ironbridge) usually in mid November. Jill also attends some Art & Craft Fairs in and around the West Midlands.
