FutureHEALTH, formally known as the Health Tech Ecosystem Builder and Incubator Pilot Project, is an initiative co-funded by IDB Lab and FutureBARBADOS
FutureHEALTH aims to empower those with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes to design innovative, technology-driven solutions that will ultimately benefit Barbados, the wider Caribbean region and the world.
FutureHEALTH works across three core pillars:
FutureHEALTH Communities: We are bridging gaps, creating connections and sharing knowledge via university programs, panel discussions, public events and educational content and campaigns, to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, is equipped with tools and knowledge to not only embrace health technology but to champion it.
FutureHEALTH Incubator: We work with ideators, innovators and entrepreneurs to transform promising healthcare ideas into real-world solutions. We leverage our network and resources to ensure that no matter where you are in the developmental process, you have the right tools, guidance and support to help you move forward with confidence in your entrepreneurial journey.
FutureHEALTH Engine: We understand that technology and innovation need the right enabling environment to thrive. Through FutureENGINE, we work alongside key stakeholders, industry leaders and policymakers, using data-driven insights and research to advocate for smart policy changes that will ultimately create a robust and responsive healthcare ecosystem.
