Gäsene mejeri bildades 1931, som ett sätt för bönderna i trakten att få rättvist betalt för sin mjölk. Än idag är vi Sveriges minsta mejeriförening, ägda av 24 bönder. Det är från deras gårdar som all mjölk till vår goda ost hämtas. Det betyder att inte en droppe mjölk har längre än 25 minuter till mejeriet. Logiskt, enkelt och närproducerat i sin rätta bemärkelse.
