The G100 Global Sustainable Mining ESG Wing, under the leadership of Global Chair Khosi Sibisi, is one of the 100 sectoral wings of G100—a global network of influential women leaders driving change across industries and continents.
This wing focuses on transforming the global mining sector through a powerful lens of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) excellence, sustainability, and gender inclusion. We work to promote responsible mining practices, influence global ESG policy alignment, and elevate women’s leadership across the entire mineral value chain—from artisanal mining to boardroom decision-making.
Our mission is rooted in:
Promoting climate-smart, socially inclusive, and transparent mining practices
Elevating gender champions and women-led innovations in the mining sector
Facilitating collaboration across countries, stakeholders, and communities
As part of the Mission Million framework, we aim to mobilize 10,000 women leaders worldwide across 100 countries under this wing, each led by a Country Chair and supported by a distributed leadership model that reaches into local communities and decision-making arenas.
