Ouverte en 2011 dans le Marais à Paris, la galerie Sator s’attache à la promotion d’artistes internationaux émergents ou en voie de confirmation. La ligne de la galerie se définit dans un rapport référencé de l’art à d’autres formes artistiques ou de création de la pensée : la politique, l’histoire, l’histoire de l’art, la littérature, la philosophie ou les sciences ayant pour vocation de questionner la place de l’Homme dans le monde, d’offrir un outil de réflexion sur les sociétés contemporaines, leur évolution et mutation, leur rapport au territoire. Le questionnement sur l’image et sur la production de la forme plastique complètent cette approche. En octobre 2019, la galerie Sator a rejoint Komunuma à Romainville avec un espace de cent trente mètres carrés.
L’exposition “De l’effacement de la figure humaine” (23 mai – 12 juillet 2025), sera la dernière exposition de la galerie Sator à Komunuma.

Opened in 2011 in the Marais district of Paris, Galerie Sator is dedicated to promoting emerging and established international artists. The gallery's approach is defined by a referential relationship between art and other forms of artistic creation or thought: politics, history, art history, literature, philosophy or science, with the aim of questioning the place of Man in the world, and offering a tool for reflection on contemporary societies, their evolution and mutation, and their relationship to the territory. Questions about the image and the production of plastic form complete this approach. In October 2019, the Sator gallery joined Komunuma in Romainville with a space of one hundred and thirty square meters.
The exhibition “De l'effacement de la figure humaine” (May 23 - July 12, 2025), will be Galerie Sator's last exhibition at Komunuma.
