3-D digital modelling concrete structures' rebar in a non invasive way. We help Architects, Engineers and Asset Managers get maximum precision information for: - studies of existing structures - quality control during construction - pathology diagnostics - refurbishment and retrofit projects - heritage preservation We can determine: Rebar diameters and positions | Rebar and P-T tendon corrosion | P-T grouting voids | Honeycombing Different materials: Concrete | Wood | Masonry | Stone Any type of construction: Buildings | Infrastructure | Monuments & Historical buildings We developed a unique technology for studying constructions: Reinforced Concrete Tomography (RCT) (*) This non-destructive testing (NDT) technique uses gamma-rays to illuminate sections of beams, columns, slabs, or any other element while sensitive films record the transmitted rays. The 3-D reconstruction of the reinforcing bars in the examined sections is obtained from the subsequent analysis of the data recorded in these gammagraphies. Because gamma-rays provide actual images of the interior of the irradiated volume, other characteristics can also be investigated. Of particular importance and current interest is the detection of corrosion in steel elements, such as reinforcing bars, strands and cables and grout voids in post-tensioning ducts. The "picture" quality of a gammagraphy makes this technique superior to any other current NDT method for addressing these issues. RCT has multiple applications.
