Gapsted Estate is a family-owned winery with a strong focus on emerging and alternative varieties. The quality and authenticity of the wines has led the expanded portfolio from approachable, joyful wines through to the development of prestige wines. Gapsted Estate is renowned for producing exceptional wines from alternative grape varieties that thrive in the Alpine Valleys that demonstrate our ongoing commitment to excellence and the driving force behind our winery and team. By crafting wines of purity, precision and power while nurturing the individuality of the Alpine region and the personality of each variety, we take our customers on an exciting journey of discovery. As well as substantial estate plantings, Gapsted Estate sources fruit from long term growers located in Victoria’s Alpine Country. Exports to Canada, Norway, Sweden, Singapore, Vietnam. The winery is located near Myrtleford, Victoria and has an award-winning cellar door and restaurant which overlooks the stunning Ovens Valley, on the Great Alpine Road and adjacent to the Murray to Mountains Rails Trail. The Cellar Door and Restaurant are open Thursdays to Mondays 10am - 5pm.
