We are a boutique practice headed by Rebecca Garnett and Peter DePasquale. G.DP was founded in 2019 after a number of years working at Thomas Phifer & Partners (Garnett) and Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects (DePasquale). Both principals bring these histories to bear in the firm's current work, which spans single-family residential to civic projects to work with emerging and established cultural institutions.
Since our founding, we have sought to create a body of work that is at once formally nuanced, programmatically inventive, and richly-considered. We see our work as fitting into a modernist lineage while bringing a nuanced warmth and texture to the interiors.
We offer architecture, planning, and interior design services, and pride ourselves on being a full-scope firm. We work across the United States, and are particularly attuned to the opportunities and challenges presented by the East End of Long Island.
