After 20 years of buying, selling, planting, and helping to create the distribution models for Organic, Non-GMO, and Regenerative products, I have made many friends! My work over the years has included obtaining organic certification for many products around the world, commodities trading for several large manufacturers and distributors, managing domestic supply chain brands in the US. My roots, however, started with being a farmer myself in Brazil.
With all that is in my background, I have come to realize that in a post-pandemic world, a more efficient solution is needed for sourcing quality products at the right price.
We have to accept the fact that price has become more important, even in the organic and sustainable market, where people are willing to pay more to eat clean and healthy. Connecting buyers to trustworthy exporters is what I do best!
Understanding how crops work and farmers think has made it possible to for me to know when to take positions on purchases and negotiate best pricing very successfully! As a side business, I have worked for years to plant the seeds of relationships all over the world through Gateway Brazil International and these relationships are built on trust, transparency and mutual partnership. Now, working on my own, it’s my vision to harvest those seeds and connect those dots.
