Established in 2017 as Life Engineering and was later rebranded as Gathercare in 2020 and officially certified as shariah compliant by Afsha Shariah Advisory.
Gathercare is the first hospital and medical bill sharing program in Malaysia. Gathercare is not an insurance or takaful program but it's a technology company that provides medical service solutions.
Gathercare is based on the concept of crowd sharing. Crowd sharing is the use of small amounts of capital from a large number of individuals to finance the medical bill. Today, Gathercare uses the help of technology and creative business models while abiding to laws, we curated a perfect platform for us to help each other. Each Sharer in the Gathercare Community has pledged to contribute a maximum RM50 per month in helping any soul within the community who is in need of medical treatments.
