Welcome to the Gauge Training Experience. We will provide the very latest in high end technical training under contract with API-U, the training arm of the American Petroleum Institute worldwide. Available now, specialized training focused on the proper techniques for insuring the integrity of threads on tubing, casing and drill pipe connections are available with an API-U approved course for the first time. Initial operations based in Houston, Texas are available with new locations both domestically and internationally to follow. Participants can expect an interactive, focused and intense exposure to the proper methods of inspecting, and certifying tubular threads of all kinds. Welcome! ➢ Initiated in June of 2017, Gauge Training is premised on organizing, consolidating, refining and upgrading training programs on correct and approved gauging techniques conforming to current API standards. ➢ Incorporated in Texas April 2018, Gauge Training will provide thread inspector training on measuring API Tubing & Casing and Rotary Shouldered Connection thread forms as mandated by API Specifications 5B-1, 5CT, 7-2 and RP 7G-2. ➢ In a “hands on” classroom environment with a maximum of ten students per class, and utilizing API approved and certified instructors; Gauge Training will license individuals as graduates of our thread inspector training courses adhering to the most current API standards with certifications valid for two years. ➢ Training will cover both dimensional gauging and go/no-go style gauging techniques while utilizing the most current and common gauge brands found in the industry. ➢ The course will cover measurement techniques, calibration standards, dimensional reporting, “Go and No/Go” criteria and troubleshooting to ensure accurate and repeatable results. ➢ Classes are one full day each with a one hour lunch break and a light lunch will be provided. ➢ In conjunction with API-U, Gauge Training will set the standard in the industry for professional certified
