Green.Building.Solutions. Summer University takes place from July 13 to August 1, 2026 in the capital of Austria, the City of Vienna.
The English-speaking interdisciplinary academic program aims at increasing knowledge of and raising awareness for sustainability in the field of building, construction, design and urban planning and adds on the diverse participants´ qualifications which is a great benefit for their career.
The holistic program aims at international students from architecture, building design, engineering sciences or related fields to deepen their knowledge of passive house technology as well as energy efficiency in buildings.
Through a diverse program of lectures, discussions, excursions to best practice examples and a group design project, together with Austrian experts the students gain valuable insights and connect with changemakers and experts form around the globe.

The program is a non-profit academic program, managed and implemented under the leadership of the OeAD student housing. It is mainly organized in cooperation with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU University), TU Wien, University of Vienna, Danube University Krems, University of Applied Sciences Vienna (FH Technikum ), Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), Marcello Turrini ZT, Studio Calas and Reinberg Architekten ZT. More than 100 international partners worldwide collaborate and support the GBS.
