TOGETHER SMOKE-FREE

The project "Together smoke-free" is a project from the Swiss Research Institute for Public Health and Addiction (ISGF). The project is for the population with little financial, time or language resources. We organize 2 workshops for smokers (in 9 languages: DE, FRA, ITA, POR, ESP, TUR, ALB, SRB, BOS). In the workshops, smokers receive necessary information about the dangers of smoking and how to protect themselves from tobacco smoke. The workshops are free of charge for the participants. The core of the project are the 2 online workshops “Smoking harms!” and “How do I quit?”. The workshops are conducted in the language of the participants. After the workshops the participants should try to stop smoking. "Together smoke-free" cooperates with associations, organizations, religious institutions and groups. Together we organize and conduct the workshops. At the same time, the project supports the associations in developing measures for protection against passive smoking.
