General Liquids Canada was launched in 2008 with the goal of creating safer, higher performing roadways. We create asphalt products and conduct material performance research to continuously explore new and more effective ways of constructing, sealing, and preserving roads and structures. From road builders to industrialists, we work with many organizations that use bitumen-based products in Atlantic Canada and beyond.
GLC's central laboratory is a full-service research, testing and production facility for asphalt-based products. Based at our primary location in Waverley, Nova Scotia, our AASHTO accredited lab was recently renovated to maximize workspace while improving efficiencies and capabilities. At approximately 3,000 square feet, it is one of most advanced, fully automated, state-of-the-art plants in Canada. In addition to the laboratory itself, this site houses our main AC Terminal and Emulsion Mill. It also contains a fully functional storage terminal with remote tanks, rail capabilities, and a fleet of trucks to hold and transport materials to virtually any location.
