GENERG part of TotalEnergies, the global multi-energy company in 25 july fully aquired Total Eren, a leading renewable energy producer, following a strategic agreement signed between TotalEnergies and Total Eren in 2017, according to which TotalEnergies could exercise its right to fully acquire Total Eren (formerly EREN RE) after a 5-year period.
Following this acquisition, GENERG, part of the NOVENERGIA Group and 100% owned by Total Eren since 2019, now becomes TotalEnergies.
Based in Portugal with a team of over 80 people mainly located in Lisbon, GENERG brings to TotalEnergies its testimony of professionalism and know-how in the renewables sector in Portugal, hence contributing to TotalEnergies’ ambition to become a major player in the energy transition and to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, together with society.

A GENERG parte da TotalEnergies, empresa global multi-energias, que adquiriu em 25 de julho a Total Eren, uma produtora líder de energia renovável.
Este processo surge no seguimento de um acordo estratégico assinado entre a TotalEnergies e a Total Eren em 2017, segundo o qual a TotalEnergies poderia exercer seu direito de adquirir integralmente a empresa Total Eren (anteriormente EREN RE) após um período de 5 anos.
Após esta aquisição, a GENERG, parte do Grupo NOVENERGIA detida a 100% pela Total Eren desde 2019, passa a ser a TotalEnergies.
Com sede em Portugal e uma equipa de mais de 80 pessoas localizadas maioritariamente em Lisboa, a GENERG traz à TotalEnergies o seu legado de profissionalismo e know-how no setor das renováveis em Portugal, contribuindo assim para a ambição da TotalEnergies em se tornar um importante player deste sector na transição energética, com o objetivo de alcançar a neutralidade carbónica até 2050, juntamente com a restante sociedade.
