Genetagus is a company specialized in CRISPR-based gene editing located in the campus of the Egas Moniz School of Health & Science, a major Portuguese university in the outskirts of Lisbon, Portugal.
We work with regular cell lines (Hela, HEK293, COS, etc.), iPSCs, and primary cells. We make knockouts, knockins, and knockdowns. We can also activate gene expression using CRISPR, and we build plasmids.
For CRISPR projects, we have three packages:
Fully outsourced. We provide isolated edited clones. Turnaround time: 5 months. Prices start* at 4,000 €;
Partially outsourced. We provide bulk cultures with evidence that some cells have been edited. Turnaround time: 8 weeks. Prices start at 2,650€ (it includes remote assistance for the subcloning done in the cient's lab via email and Zoom);
"Do it yourself." We send you a kit for the editing and provide remote assistance via email and Zoom. Prices start at 1,850 €.
*The project can be fully customized (e.g., use of a "hifi" Cas9, an extra guide, phenotyping, etc.).
