George Third & Son (GTS) is a unique steel fabrication company based in Burnaby, British Columbia. GTS was founded in 1910, and the initial service platform was a blacksmith shop. Over the past 110 years GTS business offerings have evolved from a blacksmith shop to a 55,000 SF steel fabrication shop. GTS has completed numerous prestigious and complex installations throughout the Pacific Northwest, working in close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project owners. GTS has a solid reputation and the ability to combine various materials - most notably timber - with structural steel components, producing aesthetically pleasing, architecturally sound designs. Services include design, engineering, welding, cutting, steel forming, machining, custom fabrication, and managing the installation process.
