The Georgetown University Army ROTC, known as the Hoya Battalion, comprises cadets from five prestigious institutions: Georgetown University, American University, The George Washington University, The Catholic University of America, and The Institute for World Politics. Our cadets, who are among the top three percent of academic achievers in the nation, undergo a rigorous program of education, military training, and social development to become the future leaders of the Army and joint forces.
The Hoya Battalion is proud of its record of excellence, having been ranked the top Senior ROTC Battalion in the nation by U.S. Army Cadet Command in 2012. Our dedicated cadre develops each cadet according to their unique abilities, ensuring they are physically and mentally prepared to serve as officers in the U.S. Army. The cadre's commitment to high standards ensures that our cadets are well-equipped to lead soldiers in combat and achieve victory.
