The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Inc. (GLBC) is the largest black caucus in the nation with a membership of 61 African American state legislators. Created in 1975, its purpose is to enable black legislators to convene and develop strategies for dealing with specific legislative issues, formulate an agenda, and create an outreach program for African Americans people of color and disadvantaged citizens throughout the state of Georgia.
