"Girls Can Code" is a club dedicated to teach girls the basic principles of Programming and Web development in an interactive manner, launched by the "Hand in Hand" project of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch - The Department of Ecumenical Relations and Development in partnership with UNICEF.
The club targets high school girls, for a month-long journey full of learning and fun, two sessions per week, ending with a three-day Codeathon extends from 9 AM to 6 PM to apply what they learned during the club through developing websites that would be created by them.
The club aims to broaden girls' horizons about technological development, break stereotypes about girls in this field, and to fill the gender gap in Technology.
