Girls Thinking Global is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the empowerment and education of adolescent girls and young women worldwide. MISSION The mission of Girls Thinking Global (GTG) is to create a global community of organizations serving girls and young women by leveraging technology to create a collaborative space that connects best practices, knowledge, and expertise between non-profits. In addition, GTG will create unique programs to support specific needs not covered by other foundations and/or identified by our supporters. Together we are stronger than a group of separate entities. OUR STRATEGY FOR CHANGE Through our years of work in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, we know there is power in connection and collaboration. We know that when people connect in a meaningful way, ideas flourish and small projects turn into scalable, impactful programs that change lives. We created GTG because there are organizations all around the world, including the United States, that are doing great work for adolescent girls, yet they are not able to scale because they have been unable to make connections, collaborate or leverage resources across groups. We now have the technology to connect these organizations so that they may work in collaboration to create life-changing opportunities for adolescent girls around the world.
