We foster international partnerships, knowledge exchange & cultural dialogue between Jordan and Germany.
Since its founding in 2005, the GJU Project Office has been based at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences in Magdeburg, Germany. As a key player in the German-Jordanian University (GJU) network, we support the German Dimension of the GJU with funding from the Transnational Education Programme (TNB) of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
We support the GJU bachelor students in their Germany Year, during which they spend a semester at a German partner university and a semester of internship in a German company.
We currently work together with over 100 academic partners and we are proud to have also over 100 official partnercompanies and organisations in Germany. The GJU's educational areas are:

We also manage the Alumni Ambassador Programme (AAP) for GJU alumni living in Germany. It is a unique platform for strengthening connections, deepening cooperation and actively shaping the alumni community in Germany.
The AAP was founded in December 2017, on the initiative of the GJU Project Office, by former GJU students who have completed postgraduate or doctoral studies in Germany and are firmly integrated in the labour market.
For over two decades, UAS Magdeburg-Stendal and the GJU have worked together to promote cultural exchange, knowledge sharing, and innovative education.
