Gampaha Kabanika Govinge Sangamaya, established in 2011, is a pioneering small producer organization situated in Sri Lanka. Beginning with a modest group of 25 farmers dedicated to organic farming, the association has grown exponentially, now comprising approximately 123 farmer members cultivating over 1250 acres of land. Specializing in the cultivation of organic coconut products, Gampaha Kabanika Govinge Sangamaya has not only embraced Organic and Fair Trade principles but has also achieved Organic and Fairtrade certification for a diverse range of crops, including Coconuts, Pineapple, Banana, Mango and other tropical fruits. The association's commitment to sustainable agriculture with reflects a transformative journey towards economic resilience, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.
Today, the association proudly supplies not only raw materials but also an extensive range of fruit and coconut products, showcasing its evolution and adaptability in the agricultural sector.
