For over 145 years Glasgow Care Foundation have been assisting families and individuals in Glasgow who cannot get help from any other agency with basic household goods. We also support local community projects, holidays for families and distribute toys and food vouchers at Christmas.
We act as Trustee for some 13 smaller charities and administer grants for two Funds caring for people with an incurable health problem. Our income comes from capital investments made in earlier years, bequests, legacies and donations. We do not receive any funding from local or national government. Due to the economic climate the demand for help is ever increasing.
