Glazed Bar is a community space where people can come, chill out and connect with each other again. We’re more than a donut and coffee shop. At Glazed Bar you can build your own donut, drink teas from Paris, sip delicious locally-made chai tea, grab a good ‘ole cup of Columbian coffee or bring in your own alcoholic beverage and enjoy a wide variety of groovy funk and house music. We’re all about our community, our clients and the environment! Not only do we showcase the work of local artists, but also try to reuse as much as we can to save on waste. We promote customers to bring in their own mugs and leave them hung on our wall to use during their next visit. We use minimal, biodegradable takeaway bags and, if we don’t sell out of all of our donuts, we donate them to Newcastle Angels who distribute to their clientele in need. Glazed Bar is a chilled out place where folks can hang out and enjoy the food, music, and each other. The free super-fast Wi-Fi is another reason to put your feet up and stay for a while!
