Our primary method of working is through Horse Assisted Development programmes – experiential learning though interaction with horses/ponies. However, we also explore other innovative and creative methods that encourage and support the development of key life skills. Where appropriate we incorporate these into our programmes so that we provide the best possible environment for individuals to grow and flourish.
A very wise man (Aristotle) once said "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all" and we agree.
Our horses are the true educators in our work. They don’t do role-play, so noticing how they respond to our behaviour and energy offers us a unique insight into ourselves and our relationship to the world and to other people, aiding us in:
