Global Maheela—where Maheela means “woman” in Nepali—is a social enterprise born from the heartache and resilience of families impacted by labor migration. Too often, loved ones leave home for foreign jobs and never return—or return broken—leaving behind families in financial and emotional crisis.
We are here to change that narrative.
At Global Maheela, we help families thrive locally by transforming traditional skills into sustainable businesses. From handcrafted scarves to organic herbs, we provide global market access, digital training, and business support so women and youth can build futures without leaving their homes or loved ones behind.

To empower families and youth affected by labor migration through skill-building, market access, and business support—ensuring financial independence, dignity, and unity for generations to come.
What We Do
Market Access: We connect handmade products—textiles, jewelry, crafts, organic herbs—directly to international buyers, eliminating the need for risky labor migration.
Business & Digital Literacy: We train families in entrepreneurship, digital tools, and financial literacy, helping them launch and scale their businesses.
Youth Empowerment: We support young people who’ve grown up in care homes or unstable environments by helping them start small businesses and build self-sufficient lives.
Sustainable Livelihoods: We ensure long-term economic security by building community-based solutions that work locally and globally.
Our Impact: Maya’s Story
