The Global Peace Building Foundation (GPBF) focuses on cultivating global peace through dialogue, sports, and the arts at the youth level to provide unity, compassion and understanding.
The mission of GPBF recognizes efforts to support grassroots organizations that foster education, diversity and peace. While the challenge of peace building is great, person-to-person activities and outreach done at a local level can succeed in transforming lives broken by prejudice, hatred and fear. When one mind is changed, or one heart is warmed, a ripple effect occurs. The work of a few affects the lives of many.
Part of the value of GPBF is the offer of due diligence and accountability to donors. GPBF takes the time to thoroughly research potential partners, i.e. perform due diligence. The research is conducted primarily through interviews and observation of activities in the field.
GPBF Mission Statement:
Contribute to the building of global peace by supporting organizations and projects that restore, rebuild, and transform relationships that have been broken due to prejudices, stereotyping, hatreds, and fears that may have accumulated over generations.
