Global Shapers is an initiative of the World Economic Forum that brings together young people between the ages of 18 and 30 to create social impact projects. The community has offices in more than 150 countries called "Hubs" where the Shapers organise and self-manage themselves in teams. The Bilbao Hub opened its doors in 2015 and is currently made up of 46 young people.
"Think global, act local. We base our projects on the needs we detect in our immediate environment. The aim of all of them is to generate a positive change in our community. We are an international network of young people who share the ambition to improve the world. We are characterised by our commitment to our environment, the desire to make an impact and the energy to create community.
